The National Botanic Garden:
The National Botanic Garden of Belgium is set on over 227 acres of land in the Meise town, is a paradise for the natural lovers. Considered as one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, it comprises of nearly 18,000 plant species that includes medicinal plants, shrubs, herbaceous, conifers, trees and wild roses. The gardens also consists of a huge glasshouse, Plant Palace, which is set in 2.5 acres and has above 10,000 plant species and unusual plants from Asia, America, Australia, New Zealand and Africa.
The Japanese Garden:
The largest Japanese Garden in Europe is present in Belgium and is based on the 17th century Japanese Garden architecture and with the help of the Japanese city of Itami, it was constructed. The garden is categorized of three parts – a transition zone from the Kapermolen Park to the Japanese garden, a tea garden focusing on a teahouse and a large grove of 250 cherry trees. Also several museums are located nearby like the Fashion Museum, and Museum of Stellingwerff-Waerdenhof.
Royal Greenhouses at Laeken:
